There's something about fall that just makes me reach for the biggest sweater to wrap up in...

The chunkier the better! I fell in love with this tan sweater the second I saw it - the thick knit texture and the little hearts that are all over it made me click "add to cart" so quickly I barely knew what was happening. I know some people scoff at pulling a sweater down over one shoulder but when the temperatures are cooler this is a fun way to show a little skin ;) I love when a sweater runs larger so that you have some breathing room to really give it your own personality. Paired with white jeans and riding boots it's the quintessential fall look. Some of y'all are thinking "omg white jeans?!" YES. When paired with warm colors it's the perfect way to bring out the richness of your leather boots and show off that gorgeous sweater.

Speaking of boots... I know that Tory Burch boots are on the pricier side. I own a black pair and a brown pair and they are easily my most worn boots to work, running errands, out for dinner, etc. They are 100% worth the investment because they fit incredibly well, keep their shape, and are so so so well made. If you're going to wear boots every season - then invest in a pair that will last you for years. I have had my black pair for almost 4 years and this brown pair for 2.5 and have never had to repair or resole them (yet - I will get new soles next year to keep them in perfect condition). I treat them with a leather sponge to keep the leather from cracking and extending their lifespan!

Oh what a weekend! It was SO nice to have a couple days off and spend some time with my mom and Mimi back in Baltimore. But now it's time to get back to the grind - workouts, eating healthy, getting sh!t done, and trying to get in bed by 10pm (don't worry I'm not total grandma status... I just like to read to try and fall asleep haha).

Y'all know I love my white pants more than anything... While I'm a dress or romper girl through and through my white pants are always a no fail option in my closet. They pair with just about anything and are the perfect back drop for the millions of accessories I have haha #guilty. I love how the neutral outfit really allows my earrings and straw purse to steal the show. When you have a purse this neon and earrings this gorgeous they're supposed to take center stage!

Is everyone ready for the week ahead? I've got a super super fun weekend ahead so I'm already counting down the days... even though it's Monday ;)

It's officially time to pair every top you know and love with your white pants! I picked up this gingham top from Abercrombie (I know - of all places) because I loved the buttons down the front and poplin sleeves. It comes in adorable stripes and plaids too and is under $35. Top it off with some chunky gold earrings and a yellow clutch to brighten up the look!

Did everyone have a great long weekend? I'm already missing the long days in the sun, beach walks, and bike rides. We were lucky to have three gorgeous days of sunshine in the OBX

I'm shocked at this weather... cold during the week but it's been sunny and warm on the weekends! There's still a breeze in the air so I love being able to throw a poncho or wrap over my shoulders. The thing I take the longest to put away this time of year? Sandals... I just can't help it. I would take open toed shoes with sweaters any day. This warm weather is also making me keep my white jeans out longer ;) rules were meant to be broken. I just balance out all the summery-ness with a dark green poncho on top.

I've fallen in love with these earrings especially! I love a good statement earring and these had me going all heart-eyed emoji the second I saw them. Perfect for a casual day at a winery with friends, dressed up for date night, or topping off a wedding look!
