The crispness of white on white... does it get any better? There's something so soothing about pairing white pieces together. It's a chance to play up texture or accessories in a bold color. In this case I wanted to be ultra feminine with the ruffles in this top. It's very lady like and I wanted to modernize it a bit with white skinny jeans (something every lady should have in her closet)! I decided to keep my purse and jewelry somewhat neutral along with my favorite nude heels - the beauty of the architectural surroundings is really what inspired me. I love how the arches cascade down the walkway similar to the ruffles on this blouse. It has a bit of an Italian feel to it and I felt as if I should be carring an Aperol Spritz in my hand. Wouldn't you agree? Someone book me a flight to Italy, please!

I found this cute lil dress in stores and was instantly smitten with the style.

I love a good smocked detail on dresses and tops but was worried that having it around my mid-section would highlight an area that I didn't want to have attention brought to. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when the fit was really slimming! You can move the skirt up or down and really maneuver this style to fit your body type. Plus, it's so lightweight and breezy without making you look baggy. The combo of loose up top and fitted at the waist is very slimming. I've been stalking the website to see if this has popped up online yet but no luck (it's still in stores)! I've linked a bunch of similar dresses in the same style that are just as adorable!

These wedges have also become a staple for me this summer. They're perfect for work and fun! I wore them to a welcome party for a wedding in MA last weekend. I can commute to work in them AND dance all night in them - total win in my book!

Things I love: maxi dresses, pink, bow details, turquoise, leopard, twirling, straw purses, and high heels. Combine them all together and you have one of my favorite looks I've put together. I love a romper and sandals in the summer but being super girly/feminine while mixing prints is a favorite as well. Put me in a dream like venue and I'm going to act like a princess dancing and twirling around haha. I love how this dress fit - super long so that it covered my heels (I'm 5'-6") and the tie straps were adjustable. The smocking around the bodice was so flattering and helped give me some shape which can be hard with maxis sometimes! This dress was made out of a light linen material so it breathed well in the hot sun. Y'all have seen me share these shoes before but they're so. dang. comfortable. I have them in nude as well and I swear I can practically run laps!!

Fun fact - you can buy or rent this dress! It's available on Rent the Runway! Fun fact #2 - these are the first Kendra Scott earrings I owned... Throw back to 2013!!! They're some of my tried and true favorites. If you've been around since 2013 then you know my love for turquoise runs deeeeeep. I think it could easily pass as my favorite color (at least in the jewelry department for sure)!

{little white amazon dress}

There's nothing I love more than bright & vibrant color... but white is easily my go-to color that never fails. I just love a crisp white!

I found this cute little dress on Amazon and instantly knew it was a must have in my closet. I love the flutter sleeves and the tiered ruffle skirt. It's also lined!! So you don't have to worry about it ever being see through. This just proves that reading the reviews on Amazon are worth it - I never would've known if I hadn't scrolled through them. In all honesty I probably would've written this off. White dresses are normally a miss for me (except I have a ton, maybe because I always assume they won't work haha).
