{25 days of Netflix Christmas movies | 2020}

I made a Netflix Christmas movie list last year and it was so much fun that I had to do one again! There have been LOTS of new movies this year... including sequels to some of our favorites! Thank you Netflix for truly giving us what we need this year :) lots of holiday cheer. I've also noticed that Vanessa Hudgens is working hard to be the new face of Christmas movies?! I'm here for it!

What Christmas movie is your favorite?! I'm waiting to watch Christmas Chronicles 2 with Kyle's family and am so excited!! Pretty cool that the majority of these are "Netflix originals"! However, Miracle on 34th Street will forever be my all-time favorite Christmas movie :)

{gift guide: for her}

Okay ladies... I know you need gift ideas for yourself or for the other women in your life. Some of these are very specific and others are broad. We can all be very picky haha ;) I still haven't created my own wishlist so this is a starting point for me!

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Agolde Parker Shorts // I purchased these cult favorite shorts earlier this summer because I had heard every dang blogger rave about them and was finally curious to try them myself.... they are everything. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I haaate shorts on myself and I barely take these off haha

Leatherology Purse // I love this unique monogram - it's a raised part of the purse but all one piece of leather. This is going to the top of my list because it's an every day purse that I'll have for years and it holds a lot too!

Diptyque Photophore // I've always been in love with these. A stunning way to store your candles and it helps them burn evenly every time so you don't waste any of those yummy Diptyque candles!

Kendra Scott Hoops // Fun colorful hoops that will spice up any outfit! Kendra Scott always has such high quality pieces - they don't tarnish, don't irritate my skin, and always pack well when traveling.

Love Always,

{gift guide: for him}

Guys are the hardest to shop for. Period. They never tell you what they want! I actually have a note in my phone and make a running list for Kyle throughout the year... if he ever mentions anything that could be a gift I instantly write it down. It's saved me a lot of trouble. This list is to help save y'all any trouble too! xoxo.

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Yeti Cup // How many times can I suggest this? It's a thoughtful gift even though it's generic because the quality is top notch! I love this hunter green especially.

Head Lamp // If I had a dollar for the number of times Kyle actually uses this... I'd be rolling in dough. It seems like a silly gift but he honestly uses it when he's working constantly. He even uses it for grilling at night or reading in bed when I'm already asleep. It's probably one of his most used items.

Nutri Bullet Blender // Those New Year's Resolutions are right around the corner. This blender is crazy powerful and can go straight from the blender to the road or the gym. It will mix any protein powder up to a milkshake like consistency. Best part is it's not massive so squeezing it into your already packed kitchen cabinets is easy.

Love Always,

{gift guide: beauty guru}

I know you have that one friend who is obsessed with anything beauty related... they spend their days browsing Sephora, following all the big YouTubers and almost exclusively watch makeup TikToks. Their Sephora card is most likely the top tier ;) this gift guide if for that friend

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Revolve 24 Days of Beauty // I mean are you kidding me!? All of those minis of the BEST products?!

Maelove Serums Trio // I use these religiously. The best Vitamin C serum I've found and the hyaluronic acid serum is super moisturizing without feeling heavy at all. Kyle uses the calming serum to help with any redness. Getting all three at once saves money and they pack a punch when used together!

Vanity Planet Exfora // I'm dying to get one of these haha I think being able to exfoliate and suck all the gunk out of your pores is fascinating and an incredible way to truly deep clean your skin... plus my discount code "JRSPA" gives you 70% off. I'm not sure what I've been waiting for!

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Set // This nude truly looks good on everyone. It's the perfect shade and it doesn't fade throughout the day. I reach for the lip liner more than anything and use it all over my lips

Love Always,

{gift guide: cozy at home}

For your coziest of friends... the one who loves to have you over for movie night, the one who makes her living room or bedroom a spa with candles and mood lighting. For the lover of game night on the sofa with warm slippers. For the person who is thriving at home while working from home right now because everything they need is a couple of steps away.

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Himalayan Salt Lamp ($15) // Now that daylight savings has happened the sun is setting so early (ugh). Combat seasonal depression with this soothing lamp that sets a wonderful warm vibe and is supposed to help with comforting feelings.

Clear Mug // When you make yourself a cappuccino at home, you want to see those gorgeous layers or see that milk swirl into your coffee. Microwave safe and dishwasher safe - game changer! I use this mug almost every day!

Fuzzy Slippers // Great cushion on the sole, keep your feet warm (but not sweating since the toes are open), and a strong sole on the bottom so you aren't sliding around. I've owned two pairs of these now - they are a game changer when you work from home all day!

Crackling Candle // Not only does this candle smell amazing but the crackling sound it makes is so soothing... it's like getting a fireplace noise without having to make a blazing fire haha.

Love Always,

{gift guide: black owned business}

A lot of us took a commitment earlier this year to support small businesses, support local businesses, and most importantly shop black owned businesses. There are so many great gift ideas all over the internet so finding ways to support these businesses is as simple as clicking on a link below :)

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

The Lip Bar Liquid Eyeshadow // I own this in shade "it girl" and it's my favorite to put on for a fun night out! It's also very buildable... so if you just want a quick little highlight on your eye this is easy for a casual night out.

KNC Beauty Under Eye Patches // I've repurchased these 3-4 times and given them as gifts for people. I love how they seriously de-puff and are packed with collagen. They brighten my eyes up instantly! Plus, the shape makes them a lot of fun.

Estelle Colored Glass // Absolutely stunning! I've been wanting to get my hands on these for months but they're constantly sold out. Hand blown and a female owned company too!

{gift guide: for your in-laws or parents}

Parents and in-laws can be the hardest people to shop for... they never tell you what they want or need and insist you don't need to get something for them. But we all know that you've got to get something for them because they do SO much for us every day of the year. When it comes to gifts for them I always think along the lines of hostess gifts or things that will make their house/lives easier!

Psst... this board is shoppable! Just click the black plus sign on the item you want to shop!

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Our Place Pan // We recently got this pan and I must say... the non-toxic non-stick is really out of this world. We got the charcoal color because we cook a lot - so we didn't want the fun paint colors to get darker as we use it more and more. We don't keep our pans out so the charcoal made sense too. However, I looove the green and pink colors! Having a built in strainer and the wooden spoon that sits on the handle is such a nice touch.

Harry & David Gift Basket // If you can't be with your family, then sending a gorgeous basket full of fruit or snacks, cookies, muffins, etc. Is a great option!! My family has received these from multiple friends over the years and every time they are packed beautifully (honestly not a lot of fluff which is nice) and everything inside is tasty and fresh!

Wine Caddy // If your parents are big entertainers this gift is a must! A great way to keep multiple bottles on ice and allows your guests to help themselves. Or during this time, it allows people to serve themselves so that you aren't having to pour a glass of wine for someone. If it's just a small group... it's always nice to have options right on hand so you don't have to get up ;)

Keurig K-Cup and Cappuccino Machine // Ironically I put this on my gift guide weeks ago and the other day my Mimi and mom decided they wanted this for Christmas haha. It has a built in milk frother to make hot or cold lattes and cappuccinos and all it needs is a K-cup!

Love Always,

{gift guide: for mom}

For that special lady in your life :) whether that's your mom, grandma, mother-in-law, or woman that looks out for you no matter what. We all have that caregiver that goes above and beyond for us - so lucky for them!

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Birdie's Flats // I own two pairs of shoes from this brand and they feel like you're walking on clouds! The arch support is great and they're very flattering on the foot. They have everything from suede to leather to leopard calf hair to velvet. A nice rubber sole makes them easy to walk in and stand up to wear and tear.

Birthstone Necklace ($48) // I swooned the second I saw this necklace... I love that it's such a modern take on wearing your child's (or your own) birthstone. You could even just buy her favorite color. The pendant shape is very flattering and I love the dainty chain it's on.

Leather Tech Gloves // A luxe gift that is functional and practical. These gloves will keep your hands warm in the winter but still allow you to text or call from your phone without having to take them off. I love this gorgeous camel color for a high fashion look.

Tula Gift Set // Every mom deserves a little spa day - but this year, at home! Treat her to a variety of products in this discounted set. The facial pads are a favorite because they leave your face silky smooth. Use discount code JENNROG for even more $$$ off!!

{gift guide: coworkers}

Finding a gift for your coworker or boss is easily one of the hardest gifts to give. You want something nice and sincere, but let's be honest, you don't really want to spend more than $30... Especially if you have multiple coworkers. BUT this year they've held you together during a million zoom calls and supported you through working from home. They're life savers! I polled y'all with gift ideas and the masses came through. So many of these ideas are from y'all so THANK YOU!

MOST LOVED GIFTS: gift cards, extra time off, bonuses, alcohol, lots of coffee $, and personalized gifts like your initial on a coffee cup.

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Personalized Mug // This is one of my go-tos for coworkers. Buy a personalized mug and then fill it with hot cocoa, marshmallows, and an airplane bottle! Instant fun drink all in a cute mug! You can switch it up with the airplane bottles and sub in coffe or tea too. Maybe even a small single serving bottle of wine + brandy and an orange for a mulled wine? The options are endless

Subscription to WINC // I'll never stop singing this companies praises. Wine delivered to your door? Done! If you give a gift card then the receiver is able to pick their wine preferences too! They can take a little quiz to help guide them to what they'll like best. (or just buy a bottle of wine and put a cute outfit on it!)

Book of the Month Club // I loved this idea so much. The receiver is able to pick which books they want to read for the month! You can gift multiple months too.

Urban Stems Air Plant // I received this as a gift once and I still love the pot (I killed the plant whoops). Since we're working from home it's so nice to have plants and greenery around to spruce up the space.

Love Always,

{gift guide: amazon}

If you need something fast because you've waited to shop until the last second... Amazon to the rescue! They always have everything you could possibly need. (However, due to the pandemic right now - I highly encourage you to shop locally! If you can pop into a small business to grab a quick gift for someone then that gift will go even farther this year)

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Yeti Mug // I was given this for Christmas two years ago and I'm still just as obsessed with it. It keeps my tea (since I don't drink coffee) warm all morning as I'm sitting on a ton of Zoom calls. It's also great if you're taking a walk and want to bring a hot toddy with you ;)

Polaroid Camera // I actually gifted this to Kyle a year or two ago! We've had some fun documenting memories when we don't want to be on our phones. It's nice to get a physical picture quickly and put it on the fridge. Love that this gift can work for guys or girls.

Record Player // Since we're spending more time at home it's been really fun to invest in new records and play some of my mom's old ones. It's a nice way to listen to music and appreciate it more right now vs constantly skipping and changing the song.

Slouchy Purse // This is super trendy right now and I love that it's a relaxed shape to a purse. You can take off the chain and carry it as a clutch or use it as a shoulder bag.

Love Always,
