{blue linen coverup by the ocean}

I've been taking more time in the morning to sit by the ocean and enjoy the fresh air. Sometimes it's after a workout, sometimes it's right after sunrise, and sometimes it's cloudy but the ocean just calms me...

Linen Tunic // Swimsuit // Bracelets // Turkish Towel // Pearl Sandals // Vitamin Sea Bag // Sunglasses

Most mornings I go to the gym and workout or I go on a long run. Other mornings I've been encouraging myself to get out of bed by the promise of some quiet moments watching the sun come up or listening to the water. I've found it a little too easy to stay in bed riiiiight until I need to begin my work day recently. Not good! Treating myself to a little Vitamin Sea (get it?) has helped my days start productively and on a happy, encouraging note.

This tunic top... another HIHO clothing find for y'all! Linen at the beach is never a bad idea. It's breathable, lightweight, dries quickly, and covers your body if you've gotten too much sun. I'm pretty good at wearing sunscreen but some days I'm just not prepared to get more freckles on my arms lol. If there's a strong breeze and the sun is hiding I get a little bit chilly too (don't laugh at me). I love this linen tunic as a coverup or shirt - I have a bathing suit on underneath but I was wearing it with shorts after my quiet morning time. The blue reminded me of the water and the sleeves can roll up with a button closure - always a nice detail. I love that the natural weave of this shirt can take on wrinkles and soften out naturally. No fuss!

Love Always,

{monstera print romper)

The island is in complete bloom with flowers everywhere right now! One of my favorite things to do is ride around and look at all of the colors. It totally transforms different pockets of neighborhoods.

Cuyana Hat // HIHO Clothing Jumpsuit c/o // Tkees Sandals (go up 1/2 size) // Sunburst Earrings // Mark and Graham Monogrammed Clutch // Electric Picks Necklace (16")

I was recently introduced to the clothing company, HIHO Caribbean! I fell in love with this jumper because of the Monstera print on it (I've been propagating some at my house) and the colors absolutely sold me. The fabric is the lightest linen material so even though it has long pant legs I stayed cool riding around all day. Bonus - it has pockets haha. Any company that's meant for being out on the water and considered "coastal and cool" is an exciting find for me. I'm going to have to check out some of their UPF shirts soon!

Paired with my favorite Cuyana Hat and a matching clutch this is the best work to drinks look to beat the heat all day. I added some simply Tkees sandals too!

Love Always,
