First things first, a really cute pair of shorts that you feel confident in will last you for summers to come. I found this scalloped pair earlier this summer and have worn them countless times (I flew home from Key West in them)! They're marked down to $25 right now too! After you have your "wear everywhere shorts" you can pretty much pair them with any top in your closet. My favorites are bright colored, loose, and flowy. It's been really humid this summer so a top that doesn't stick to your back is key. Then you have to add some fun earrings - duh! It instantly dresses up an outfit and (in my opinion) can take it from day to night quickly. It's also a great way to color contrast and add movement to a look. The icing on any outfit is the shoes. I love these sandals because they're super comfortable and the detailing is perfectly simple yet classy. I've worn these for over a year now and they've stayed in perfect condition.

Oh what a weekend! It was SO nice to have a couple days off and spend some time with my mom and Mimi back in Baltimore. But now it's time to get back to the grind - workouts, eating healthy, getting sh!t done, and trying to get in bed by 10pm (don't worry I'm not total grandma status... I just like to read to try and fall asleep haha). Y'all know I love my white pants more than anything... While I'm a dress or romper girl through and through my white pants are always a no fail option in my closet. They pair with just about anything and are the perfect back drop for the millions of accessories I have haha #guilty. I love how the neutral outfit really allows my earrings and straw purse to steal the show. When you have a purse this neon and earrings this gorgeous they're supposed to take center stage! Is everyone ready for the week ahead? I've got a super super fun weekend ahead so I'm already counting down the days... even though it's Monday ;)
Palm prints and a monogram - does it get any better? I fell in love the second I saw this Barrington Gifts tote bag and I've carried it every day since it showed up at my front door!
If you've met me for drinks after work (or seen me navigating public transportation - ha) then you've most likely seen one of my Barrington tote bags. I have tons of purses that I carry to and from work but my Barrington bags are my absolute favorites (last blogged in this post). They sit on my shoulder comfortably, have great interior pockets, hold up well and don't get dirty, and are just SO darn cute. Who doesn't love a monogram?! When I saw they carried a palm print I knew I had to make it mine for this summer. Their website is so much fun to play around on - I could create new purse combinations for hours. I loved the light leather of this bag compared to the dark leather my navy one has. Any of their monogrammed products would be perfect as a graduation present, birthday present, or engagement present!
Now let's talk about this top... y'all have seen me gush about it on Instagram already (I mean it's $25!). I am totally addicted and have somehow managed to keep myself from ordering more than two colors! It's the perfect length for tucking into pants/skirts/shorts and the perfect length for letting it hang out. The subtle v makes it so feminine and I love how the straps double and hang loosely at the back. Plus, it comes in 15 colors!! I know this will transition perfectly into the fall with a jacket or cardigan on top.
