Ahhh the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale... fondly known as the #NSale! It's opened to the first tier of cardholders today (I personally can't shop until "Influencer" status). I've searched through everything on the site and I'm honestly really excited about a couple of things. I've covered this sale the past couple of years but obviously this year is different with the times. I'm really focusing on pieces that I'll get years of use out of - basics and pieces I can wear in Key West warm weather now. I love that you can "wish list" your favorite items this year even if they sell out. I have alerts on that let me know when something I've favorited comes back in stock! Some things are already sold out but they normally restock before each level opens up and before the sale goes live for the public (not for everything though). Tarte Blush - I have been loooooving my Tarte cream bronzer so this new blush combo really caught my eye. All of their products go on so smoothly and stay on extremely well. My current blush is on it's last leg so this will be my next purchase! Tan Crossbody - I love this brand and the pops of colors are so cute! Even though they're unique colors I feel like they would go with any outfit since it's such a subtle pop. Amazon Sunglasses - I saw these on so many bloggers and loved the unique look to them. Sunglasses are a fun accessory that can change the cool factor to any outfit. Or even spice up a simple jeans and tee look. Tula Undereye Balm - As I mentioned at the beginning of this post I am PUMPED for this new product!! Created with Courtney Shields (a fashion/beauty blogger guru) this under eye balm has all the benefits of our fave originals but with added products to help combat dark circles. Yep, sign me up! I was hesitant to jump on this trend during the Fall but seeing how she's styling them in the summer makes me really want to give it a try! Gold Bracelet - The perfect compliment to add to your stack! I love the clasp on this one too. Vitamin C Sheet Masks - You can never have enough sheet masks... and y'all know my obsession with vitamin C because it makes your skin glow!! White Cropped Tee - Shirts like this are a staple in my casual outfits and especially going to the gym. I love white anything and this shirt is the perfect cropped length to wear with leggings. Pink Off the Shoulder Jumpsuit - Everything about this jumpsuit is just perfect. I love the smocked top, the wide leg pants, the pattern, colors, and especially the off the shoulder detail!! Looks perfect for hot summer nights. White Romper - This utility style is very in right now and I know this will be a timeless cut and style. Striped Sandals - Wouldn't these be perfect paired with that white romper? Such a sweet little detail with the bow. Straw Belt Bag - Okay this is another item that I've seen only a handful of people be able to pull off well... but every time this exact bag is styled it's executed perfectly. It's sleek but still fun with the details and I think it's the perfect size. Someone hide my credit card! Blue Romper - I love details and this bow detail is absolute perfection! Nude Heels - My Sam Edelman heels are my most worn shoes during wedding season because they last from ceremony to reception to late night dancing with no blisters or pain!! This ankle detail is precious. (I've also been getting this ad at least once a day on IG haha is that a sign I need new wedding shoes?? I do have 8 coming up)
I haven't done a Wish List post in awhile... and while Summer is in full swing, Coronavirus is also still very much present. Which means I don't exactly have a place to wear a lot of these items to - except the grocery store!! Hello, fashion show on aisle 3? Lol kidding. Ever since I began working from home when I moved to KW I made the decision to get dressed in "real clothes" every morning (sometimes afternoon) so that I wasn't tempted to lounge around. This gave me a sense of habit and routine and allowed me to feel put together if I did have to go and run an errand quickly, had a lunch date, or decided to go to HH randomly (again, pre-corona ha).
Being stuck inside more has also given me a lot more time to shop online. SOOO I decided instead of purchasing every thing I fell in love with - that I would begin sharing them with y'all. You just have to promise me one thing. If you purchase something from a WLW you've got to send me a photo of you in it ;) that way I can live vicariously through you hehe.

White Dress - I love wearing anything white!! This dress is so adorable with the ruffles and tie belt to help cinch your waist. Perfect for summer
Gold Earrings - Lisi Lerch always makes the most gorgeous earrings. I've lusted after this exact design for years... and now they're back on my radar again!
White Shirt - A classic for everyone's closet... this back is adorable!
Straw Hat - I have a million hats and can never have enough! I never go out on the water without something to protect my face from the sun. Love how this one has a tie to help keep it in place - this would be so handy on a windy day!
Beach Bag - This bag has been on my wish lists for years now... the original style with the grosgrain ribbon (in pink) is an all time fave but this new leather handle was just so cool!
The Ordinary Oil - I've been looking for a new face oil since I just used mine up. The Ordinary stood out because of the insane prices... it's cheaper than a Chipotle burrito!! I then began doing a bunch of research on their products and dang was I impressed. You can really fine tune the product to get what's best for your skin. I just ordered this rose hip oil because it's great for all skin types, helps reduce signs of aging, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and supports hydrated skin. I'm curious to try "the buffet" oil next!
Star Choker - The best layering piece! Kendra Scott will forever have my heart. All of her jewelry stands up so well to the test of time. It's never faded or rubbed off on me before!
Rainbow Hoops - I love my rainbow hoops so much that when I spotted these I convinced myself I needed another pair :) these are beads and a thinner profile so if you want a subtle pop of color this is the way to do it
Jewel Sandals - So much sass in a pair of shoes and I'm all about it. The clear shoe trend is huge this summer and this style is super comfortable on the foot.
Matching Set - If I'm not wearing a maxi dress I'm most likely in beach pants like the ones in this set. They're so easy to throw on and help keep you cool in the summer even though you're in pants. So cute that this has a matching top and comes in tons of colors!
Gold Sandals - I love the subtle chunky platform on these sandals. They also come in white, tan, and clear. A great way to get a little bit of height for that maxi dress that's just a liiittle too long.
Hot Pink Pouch - I love everryyyythinggg Stoney Clover and this Tropical Collection is drool worthy! Plus they just introduced new sparkle letter patches in the exclusive tropical colors. They're covered in sequins and pearls and I can't decide what to get :)
Red Dress - I had to snag this after making this collage because I love the collar and sleeves on this dress. It's so feminine and easy to style up or down. Sleeves up with sneakers or down with cute sandals (maybe those jeweled ones)!
Striped Shirt - This is the new version of Aerie's boyfriend tee that all of quarantine went nuts over! I loved the boyfriend tee so much I bought it in multiple colors. I love that this updated version has a pocket on it but still keeps that oversized fit that is chic and comfy!
Happy Valentine's day my lovelies! I have been internet "window shopping" for awhile now and noticed that I started having a trend of red, pink and white... think the day of love has been on my mind? I've been wearing my red sweaters since Christmas and gradually adding in softer pinks because I'm ready for spring! The weather here has been so hot and cold (literally) and I'm ready to transition into another season. I get tired of my cold weather clothes after a while. Anyone else?

While I know some people think of Valentine's Day as a "hallmark holiday" I personally love it :) Any excuse to share a little extra love with the people I care about the most! I made handmade cards for everyone this year (big crafter here!) and sent them out early last week. My mom and grandma couldn't wait and already opened theirs haha. Kyle and I are choosing to stay in together again this year. Last year we agreed that the day is simply about being together so he cooked for me at his house and we had a romantic night sitting on the floor, eating Italian food, and laughing together. It was so cute because he had the coffee table set with candles, a table cloth, placemats, flowers, and wine glasses! I am a total sucker for anything romantic so I melted when I walked through the front door. Who doesn't love to be surprised like that?! I also love this holiday because it's a time to talk about self love too! When I'm home alone there's nothing I love more than trying a new face mask, taking a long bath, or watching a reality tv show (cough cough Siesta Key). The past month I've made sure to fill my time with things that make ME happy. At the start of every new year I create a list of things that bring me happiness: red wine, fresh flowers, manicures, dancing, girl talk, etc. When I've had a bad day or need a pick me up this is the list I refer to! So if you don't have a "Valentine" then give yourself the love you deserve - pick at least one thing that makes you happy and treat yourself to it. You deserve it! Oh, and calories don't count on the 14th... everyone knows that!!

Yesterday the weather got below 50 degrees! So naturally one of the first things I did was begin online shopping and dreaming of outfits ;) plus, my new earrings came in the mail and I just can't wait to wear them with everything! They're so light weight and I can't get enough of the colors. But, when I really need some retail therapy I always gravitate towards sweaters. I swear every store I look in there's another cute sweater that I must have - and they're all priced so well too! I love wearing a cute sweater to work, out with friends, or even on a date night! Dressing it up just takes a really awesome pair of earrings.
Then I went down the Target and Sephora black hole... once I found a pumpkin and eyeshadow palette I loved I knew I had to cut myself off haha. Does that happen to anyone else?
Well it's almost May... which means my birthday month! Last year I was convinced that it was gonna be my best year yet but after everything I went through I'm positive this year is going to be the best yet haha ;) I think things are already looking better! I've got lots of trips with friends planned and am excited to explore my new neighborhood more.
I already ordered these shoes for myself for my birthday and my momma got me a new vacuum (old lady status - woo)! Of course I dream about a designer handbag and a David Yurman ring every year haha what girl doesn't?! This summer I'm all about easy, flowy dresses, nude shoes, and fun accessories for my go to outfit. I've always been an accessory girl so a dress like this one that I can dress up or down and style different ways is begging to be in my closet. Another thing that you can always wear is this Maya Brenner necklace - I wear monograms all the time and this gold one would be so easy to pair with statement earrings or even layered under a big necklace!

I think I'm getting DC cabin fever... but this always tends to happen to me in March. I begin getting antsy for warm weather and suddenly have a strong urge to travel. In particular, I start dreaming about the beach or lake and some fun getaways with family and friends (Memorial Day weekend anyone?!). We had a taste of 70 degree weather last Saturday and it was pure bliss. I'm talking off the shoulder tops, dresses, sunglasses, and sandals! Every girl was going crazy with breaking out their new spring items. However, I then woke up on Sunday with a horrible cold... so now that I haven't been able to leave my bed I'm really really wishing for some sunshine and a tan!

Okay, it's official. I have spring fever... it probably started when I was in Palm Beach for a friend's wedding and got the sliiightest bit of color. Laying in that sunshine was just the best feeling. The funniest part is four days after I got home I was in NYC for Fashion Week in 7" of snow. Dang, I was really craving a bikini and a margarita then! This season is all about loose material, fun details, bright accessories, and pretty details (I have more off-the-shoulder stuff than is appropriate... oh well)! I love finding tops that can be worn now with jeans and then paired with shorts or a skirt in the summer. I've already started wearing summer accessories like these earrings - styled in this IG photo - to lift my spirits. The promise of warmer days helps me get through the cold mornings DC has been having.

With Memorial Day weekend coming up I'm beginning to eye some fun Summer pieces! Yep, I'm already ready for summer :) Spring has been great... but honestly, it hasn't stopped raining. April showers have not brought May flowers quite yet. So, I just buy them for myself instead - they're sitting pretty on my desk right now. My girlfriends and I have a big MDW celebration every year to kick off summer and I've been looking forward to this weekend for months. Literally since before the day we booked it. Getting away with my best friends, sunbathing, hanging out, a long weekend, nothing to do, boating, floating, eating... okay you get the idea. Wednesday's aren't always easy so here's my wish list to help you get through your hump day :)
Every year the end of April rolls around and somebody ends up reminding me my birthday is coming up (May 3!)... A new month just sneaks up on me every time. I can't help it! I always like to compile a little list of things I've had my eye on to drop some hints to my parents or boyfriend (cough cough those sunglasses are on sale). I also tend to treat myself to a new bday outfit because who likes to rummage through their closets to find something cute to wear to dinner? Especially when I'm considering this my quarter life crisis birthday because I finally have to get my own health insurance #26. Growing up is hard y'all. I don't like this! So to ease my pain I will probably buy myself those tennis shoes so I can run a bit faster and get in awesome shape. JK I'll totally buy those heels over tennis shoes - let's get real here.
I just purchased some new dresses (linked over on the right underneath my bio) that will possibly work for a birthday dinner with friends so at least I will have something new and fun to wear!
After seeing so many spring colors (mixed in with coats and scarves) during Fashion Week I'm having a major case of the winter blues. All I want to do is empty out my closet and make way for pastels, airy dresses, open toed shoes, tassels, off the shoulder tops, and flowy maxi dresses. I've been inspired by elegant jewelry, easy neutral layers and bright sweaters recently! I'm also on the hunt for a nice pair of brown leather booties… I have a grey suede pair and a heeled black pair but no brown leather so naturally I need to round my collection out. Also, how could I not throw in that purse?! I love the shape and the gold studs are such a fun detail - a little bit Southern don't ya think?
Did y'all catch the Gal Meets Glam collaboration with Baublebar?! So. Much. Yes.
