{amazon green romper}

When I first saw this romper I thought it was a dress. When I found out it was a romper I knew I had to have it! The hardest part was picking the color :) However, I have a strong love for green so that made it an easy choice!

Amazon Green Romper // Straw Purse // Leather Belt // Pearl Sandals (Stud Version) // Mini Conch Necklace, gift (similar) // Dior (look-a-like) Bracelet // Chain Link Bracelet (similar)

I loved the neckline on this number instantly - it cinches and really works well with any chest size. You can make it looser for a more blouse like effect or pull the material towards the center to give it a pleated look. The bottom (the shorts part) is super loose so it flares out a bit to give it that dress like look. Topped off with shoulder ties for the sweetest feminine details! I'm really having a moment with shoulder bows right now... can't get enough of them!!!

I'm wearing a size small but think a Medium may have fit better. The romper zips up the back and it is ruched so it has stretch to it but I got a little self conscious about where the seam across the waist was. My trick to "hiding" my problem area was by adding a belt. I like how it almost made it look like I was wearing a two piece set. It looks cute without one too. I had also tried it on with a thin gold belt but I liked the contrast of the brown leather with the pretty green!

I finished off this outfit with two Amazon favorites from last year - this straw circle bag (the crossbody strap is tucked inside) and my pearl embellished sandals. I wear these sandals so often that I got them in the stud version this year too. The pearls add the prettiest feminine touch and they're incredibly comfortable and easy to slip on and off!

{little denim dress for the summer}

Finding little dresses for summer has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Some girls love wearing shorts but I am a dress lover through and through. Maxi, babydoll, A-line, you name it, I love it. When I saw this chambray number at Target I picked it up without even looking at the price (spoiler alert: it's $23) because I knew it would be perfect for the summer. Wear it to the beach as a coverup, throw on a sweater for dinner, or even take a long car ride in it! The cut of the top makes it stylish but the roomy skirt makes it a foodies dream... bring on the crab feast!

I dressed this number up with a gorgeous tassel necklace, wedges, and my new purse (aka my baby - y'all know I love my purses like children hehe). I've had so much fun with this new purse... I think I accessorize it as much as I do myself. It's fun to change up the scarf I tie around the handle, add on a keychain, or just let it shine on its own! Looking forward to styling these pieces together again and on their own a lot this summer!

{pink + rose gold}

Nordstrom PinkT-Shirt // Old Navy Jeans // Old Navy White Sweater // Coach Crossbody c/o //
Rose Gold Bar Bracelet // Rose Gold Daniel Wellington Cuff // Kendra Scott Necklace // Nordstrom Trolley Booties // Bite Lipstick in “Pastille”

Happy Valentine's Day, friends! I couldn’t help but pull together a very typical “month of love” look with pink and rose gold. This combo is pretty much what I wish I would wear every single day. It just feels so girly! A comfy cotton tee paired with jeans and the coziest sweater will put anyone in a good mood. Toss on booties and a stunning crossbody bag and you’re ready to go out with friends for brunch or head home for the weekend. Bonus points if you can wear this to work… casual Friday anyone?

{valentine's day | bar cart}

I have loved my bar cart since the day I finally purchased it. Before I moved into my studio apartment I constantly thought about buying one but never had the perfect spot for it. Now I’m constantly changing it up, rearranging, and decorating it for any season Target can supply $1 items for ;)

This Valentine’s Day I knew I wanted to deck it with everything pink! I live alone so why not make my little space as girly as I possibly can?! First up was the pink garland – it was a silly purchase but I already have an idea on how I can reuse it (birthdays, bachelorettes, etc).

I then bought some adorable pink glasses, new paper straws, cocktail napkins, and reused the “cheer” stirrers from my Christmas décor! I found almost everything in the holiday section at the front of Target - it's my favorite place to stop by first because everything is $1-$5!

I found a bottle of “Love Noir” wine and mixed it in with my Winc wine purchases.  A cute cliché nod to the holiday don’t ya think?

I always have wine stoppers on hand and this new one from Hudson & Crane reminded me of Cupid’s bow and arrows. I stash all of my wine stoppers (and airplane bottles) in the mercury jar on the top - I kept this one out to act as a weight for the cocktail napkins.

To add the finishing touch I bought Hershy’s Hugs! I always have chocolate around my house… it just adds a festive touch and I like being able to grab a sweet bite on my way out the door. Plus, Valentine’s Day is all about the chocolate! I added more roses and chocolates on my coffee table too.
