{winter pastels}

Oh hello!!

First off, sorry for the absence y'all!! This normal human being got so caught up in life and work and studying that I didn't make any time for the thing that keeps me ticking every day. Well, that and the fact that the weather has not been cooperating at all! Two weekends ago it snowed (almost 1' and I was driving from Charlottesville back to DC) and two days ago it iced like crazy… I'm talking a 1/4" thick sheet of ice covering everything. I ice skated into work yesterday. I believe I'm the next Nastia Liukin ;) So because of the weather and life I wasn't able to shoot any outfits or put together any posts. I knew there was going to be a time when I slacked and wasn't organized/prepared and it happened last week. Forgive me? 

But also, is anybody else feeling uninspired with what to wear in the winter? Fashion week was just a tease for the fall… there weren't any amazing snow boots or massive-wrap-around-your-face scarves that made me think "yes, I want to wear that right now in this weather!" So today, I'm staying positive by thinking ahead! Since all of the online stores are debuting pastels, and spring, and love, and breezy clothes… that's what I'm sticking with today!
