{breezy white pants + straw hat}

Are you surprised to see me in pants?! I can never have too many white beachy pants... until I found this pair. Now I'll never need a new pair because these are IT!!

I'm always wearing white pants because white is a favorite color (perfect back drop for any bold accessory), it makes you look tan, and it just oozes relaxed beach vibes. I love a wide leg pant because it breathes well and is comfortable. They're easy to dress up or dress down (hello, perfect travel outfit)! No matter where I go I always pack a pair of white beach pants in case I need something to break up the usual dress rotation I wear. I feel like you always get the random sunburn on your leg that you want to cover up, or don't want material rubbing on it, and palazzo pants are the perfect solution.

Okay so why are these THAT good? They're on the pricier end, I realize that... y'all know that I'm all about budget friendly pieces. However, these are worth the investment because of the material alone. It's gauzy while not being see-through, it has a natural "wrinkle" texture to it, and the waist band is forgiving and won't dig in too tightly. The smocked waist also helps smooth out your hips to give an elongating look to the legs. I was so thrilled when these pants were the perfect length for my 5'-6" frame because I almost exclusively wear sandals now. Heels don't really work with the Key West vibe. I seriously cannot recommend these enough!! I want them in the surf color too ;)

{winter white with leopard shoes}

Photography by Kristyn

White Sweater (I'm wearing a S) // White Pants // Leopard Mules (go 1/2 size up!) // Baublebar Earrings // Starfish Project Bracelet c/o // Leather Purse, old (similar) // Bite Lipstick in "pastille"

I'm a sucker for white pants in the summer and a white sweater in the fall so why not combine both for a fun winter look? Yep, it's still okay to wear white pants in the winter. When I took these photos the weather was warmer but this look would be stunning with a camel coat and leopard heels for a holiday party! I love how a nice coat can pull an outfit together. I also love how adding a pop of leopard to this outfit makes it more fun! My sweater is slightly pink so that my "shades of white" don't come across as dingy or yellow (similar to how mixing blacks can make one seem more blue). I also love that it's oversized so I could pull it off my shoulder a bit - typical blogger, I know.

{embroidered floral romper}

White Embroidered Romper (only $44!) // Gigi New York Clutch // Tory Burch Sandals // Turquoise Necklace (adjustable) // Gold Necklace (adjustable) // BITE Lipstick in "pastille"

Warmer weather means it's time to break out the rompers! I was explaining to my boyfriend over the weekend why rompers are the best thing in my closet during those hot summer days (besides my beloved maxi dresses)... the first thing that came to mind is A) it requires no matching/pairing. The next thing was B) I don't have to worry about a wardrobe malfunction with a dress flying up. The last thing was C) it's basically a built-in matching top and shorts set ;) I mean who doesn't just swoon over that?! I love that rompers give me a bit more shape than my go-to swing dresses. This one feels light and breezy but I have some shape to my waist. I can sit in the car for a long ride to the beach and then hop out and go straight to dinner! Now I'm ready to hit the beach... hurry up, MDW!

I also want to take a second to talk about my two necklaces - both are adjustable!! I've been wearing this turquoise stone and gold coral necklace non-stop. I wear them alone, layered, one long and one short, both long, choker, etc. The possibilities are endless and I can't get enough. The back of the necklaces have a little piece that you can slide up and down the two ends to change where the charm sits on you. Even the ends hanging down the back of your neck look pretty in my mind! If you're looking for a piece of jewelry that you can wear every day and then switch the look up - buy one of these two asap. You won't regret it!!

{lace white romper}

This was outside our hotel in Charleston - the Belmond Charleston Place Hotel! I loved that the fountain had horses just like all of the carriages that took people on tours around the city.

Target Romper // Lulu*s Pink heels, similar with all sizes // Love's Affect Necklace and Bracelets ℅ // Gold Stud Earrings // Rebecca Minkoff Clutch (pink option) // BITE Lipstick in "Palomino"

This is my last look from the Southern Blog Society Conference in Charleston!! I've dragged these outfit posts out so that I felt like I was still there… I truly had that much fun :)

I say this about a lot of outfits but I seriously loved this look. When I woke up Sunday morning I was beyond grateful to have something comfy to put on to enjoy a farewell breakfast with all the bloggers! I decided to spice up the look with hot pink heels and colorful accessories in pretty colored stones. I've worn these Love's Affect bracelets on multiple occasions because they're so much fun to stack up and mix with other bracelets. I love how soft the colors are and that they each have a unique element to the design. Paired with my mint clutch it was a match made in heaven!

Now my hair (because I know I'm going to get questions haha) I basically did two twist braids on either side and then pinned them on top of my head to form a crown. I decided to twist them instead of your typical braid to try and be a bit different - braids were definitely a thing amongst the girls in the Charleston humidity. If you want to see a tutorial let me know and I can try to put one together :) It's really easy and is my go-to on days when my hair isn't listening or I'm trying to extend a blow-out!
