{blue lace party dress}

I bought this dress for a rehearsal dinner in October and have worn it so many times since! It's perfect for a holiday wedding, dinner date, holiday work party, and even a fancier New Year's Eve! I know what you're thinking... "but Jenn... it's navy blue?" Think of it as a neutral - add some deep emerald green to feel festive (not everyone likes red, ya know) and add lots of sparkle and black pumps for NYE. The best part? This dress will still work perfectly for the warmer months. So you're investing in a year round dress! It comes in 6 colors if navy isn't your thing. I went up a size because it runs small.

Can you believe it's one week until Christmas? Does everyone have their Christmas shopping done?

{lace blue dress}

This pretty lace blue number was my Easter dress last weekend but I know I'll be breaking it out for weddings or engagement parties this summer. It's really comfortable, easy to move in, and the color is gorgeous! I was so happy to find that when I tried it on I could still lift my arms up without the dress riding up too high. Ruffles and cold shoulders are all the rage right now and this continuous ruffle across the front and back is an easy way to try out both trends! I always love a lace dress - it makes me feel really feminine and girly. Who doesn't love having a dress in your closet that makes you feel like that?

{black lace}

Black Lace Tank Top, Target - not online (similar, similar) // J.Crew Gigi Pants // Sam Edelman Heels, old (similar, similar, similar) // Old Navy GreySweater // Clare V Clutch 15% off with code GOBIG17 (cheaper version) // Baublebar Earrings c/o // BaubleBar Ring // Daniel Wellington Watch // Bite Lipstick

Now that it's March, everyone (including myself) is dreaming of pastels and flowy dresses... but I'm still taking the opportunity to rock all black. The second I saw this top I knew I would love how it looked and I thought of multiple ways to style it. Paired with black jeans and a leather jacket, tucked into a pencil skirt with a colorful cardigan, or a colorful scarf wrapped around your shoulders with ripped jeans. It’s the perfect dress up or dress down tank - I knew I wanted to pair it with stilettos and a cozy cardigan first. Hello, date night look!

Did you see how I styled this silk tank while I was in NYFW?? Check it out here!

{lace white romper}

This was outside our hotel in Charleston - the Belmond Charleston Place Hotel! I loved that the fountain had horses just like all of the carriages that took people on tours around the city.

This is my last look from the Southern Blog Society Conference in Charleston!! I've dragged these outfit posts out so that I felt like I was still there… I truly had that much fun :)

I say this about a lot of outfits but I seriously loved this look. When I woke up Sunday morning I was beyond grateful to have something comfy to put on to enjoy a farewell breakfast with all the bloggers! I decided to spice up the look with hot pink heels and colorful accessories in pretty colored stones. I've worn these Love's Affect bracelets on multiple occasions because they're so much fun to stack up and mix with other bracelets. I love how soft the colors are and that they each have a unique element to the design. Paired with my mint clutch it was a match made in heaven!

Now my hair (because I know I'm going to get questions haha) I basically did two twist braids on either side and then pinned them on top of my head to form a crown. I decided to twist them instead of your typical braid to try and be a bit different - braids were definitely a thing amongst the girls in the Charleston humidity. If you want to see a tutorial let me know and I can try to put one together :) It's really easy and is my go-to on days when my hair isn't listening or I'm trying to extend a blow-out!
