I've recently made a couple of purchases from Forever 21 because of various sales they've been having this February/March! Since items can fly under the radar due to the sheer capacity of product they carry I thought it would be fun to quickly share everything I've picked up (and kept)!! I love their budget friendly earrings that look like so many high end pieces and their dresses are always a favorite. I couldn't help myself and have ordered two different tie dye pieces too :)

{nordstrom half yearly sale}

It's that time of year! No, for once I'm not specifically referring to Memorial Day Weekend ;) It's time for Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale!! That's right - the best store is back with one of the best sales. We're talking up to 40% off designer items, y'all.

The greatest thing about this sale is that a lot of these items are currently in season so you can order at an amazing price and then enjoy it all summer! There are so many gorgeous pieces to choose from... I sifted through them for 2 hours last night... yeah... there's a little bit of something for everyone but I narrowed it down to the best of the best (in my humble opinion).

I always like to use these sales to stock up on items that I will wear constantly (ex: in the Fall I always grab a cashmere scarf that I know I'll wear all winter and then for years to come). This summer I'm going to grab a new pair of sandals - I gave away over 20 pairs of shoes at the end of last summer! I know a new pair of sandals will serve me well this season and next year as well. Plus, it's always fun to get a new pair of shoes :)

But, this is also a great time to splurge on something you've been lusting over. Like that Milly top or a new purse that you've been saving for! Prices like these just don't happen every day!

As things sell out I'll try to remove them from this list and keep adding if I see more things that I like.  Sales at Nordstrom commonly tend to sell out quickly - so if there's something you can't live without order it right away. Place multiple orders if you need to!

{come one, come all... Nordstrom Anniversary Sale}

The title of this post sums up why everyone is STILL talking about the Nordstrom sale. Because it's a steal... as much as we don't want summer to end the temperatures will finally start to drop. So it's time to think into the future (for just until August 8th) and at least have something fun and new waiting for you when it hits the 70s!

{nordstrom anniversary sale 2016}

Okay, I know you know what today is... mainly because of the title of this post but also because every blogger and their half sister has been talking about this sale (for weeks). Let's get down to the nitty gritty shall we?

Nordstrom Card Holders are the first to gain access today until July 21st. July 22nd is when the sale opens up to the public. The sale goes through August 8th - after that prices go back up to normal!

A couple things to note:
1 // Things sell out fast. They're brand new arrivals with killer price tags.
2 // This is the time to buy big ticket items.
3 // All new fall arrivals fresh for the picking (even though its 97+ degrees for the next month)
4 // Think investment pieces. Boots, coats, cashmere...
5 // If you fall in love with something - buy it right away. Do multiple orders.
6 // It can always be returned!! Don't sweat it.
7 // It's a sale... just like any other crazy sale. You've got this ;)
