{spring open knit sweater}

Spring is officially here and with it comes... unpredictable weather!

Spring is a gorgeous time of year with the flowers blooming and warm weather... but only when the sun is shining! When it's windy and cloudy it can be quite chilly. I love an open knit sweater for days like that - it's just enough warmth on your arms but it still allows you to feel the sun shining if it peaks out from the clouds. I also wore this sweater as a bathing suit cover up while I was in Key West! This cute cropped sweater (I'm wearing a Medium for an oversized fit) is fun slouched off one shoulder to give it some sass. I rolled the sleeves up to give it some more character as well. It doesn't necessarily protect against strong gusts but when you're sitting in the shade it provides some cover to keep your arms warm!

{teal fringed amazon skirt}

Who can resist bougainvillea with coloring like these? I walked around Key West exploring one morning and they were on every corner!

I have always been a dress girl - it's what I gravitate towards in the warmer months. It's just easier to toss on and head out the door. But at work, I rotate through skirts to try and mix things up with different blouses. However, a lot of those work skirts don't get worn out on the weekends. The style is a little too "officey" for my taste. Since I'm always on Amazon now (whoops haha you're welcome!) I've been browsing for skirts that I can pair with a nice blouse for meetings or with a cotton tank/shirt on the weekend. A true desk to drinks item to add to my closet!

I found this skirt and was instantly intrigued because... tassels. I know that wasn't hard to guess! Sometimes quality of items can be less than ideal from Amazon. I was so excited to see that this was an incredibly well made skirt - nice linen textured material, concealed side zipper, and the tassels went all the way around from front to back! I loved it paired with a slimming white tank but the t-shirt knotted at the waist was too much fun to pass up (and I needed to keep my shoulders out of the sun for a bit)!

I also want to point out these absolutely precious heart earrings! Aren't they the daintiest, sweetest things?! They're from a boutique called The Pink Reef and the owner, Janice, lives in DC! All of her jewelry is handmade and the detailing is incredible - she handpaints on all of the flowers. She's created a 25% off code for y'all: jenn25! We're also hosting a giveaway on Instagram where you can win $250 to shop her store. Be sure to head to my account to enter to win!

{red pleated beach dress}

I seem to have a thing for red dresses and wanting to twirl in them!

Red Dress (small) // Palm Leaf Earrings (pack of 2) // Straw Purse // Mirrored Aviators // Sandals

My trip to Key West was nothing short of relaxing and amazing... every corner boasted a new type of flower I wanted to learn about and the sun was always shining (well, almost always - we did have one intense thunderstorm day)! Packing up all beach clothes for two weeks way down South to see my Coastie off and then hang out with my high school besties was just what I needed to get over this cold weather hump. However, returning to cold weather proved to be pretty difficult. I have lots of warm weather outfit inso coming and it's all very budget friendly! So book that last minute trip to Florida or prepare for your Spring Break, Honeymoon, vacation, etc!

I found this dress online because I really wanted something pleated and halter. I didn't have the intention to purchase a red dress but that seems to be something that I'm always drawn to. I adore the color and love it on brunettes or blondes. It has a great length so you could easily pair this with tall wedges or heels and not feel like you're going to flash someone lol. It moves so well in the breeze and I felt so glamorous and cool walking along the docks in it! It was perfect to wear to happy hour and I was able to knot it at my thigh when Kyle and I rode bikes around that afternoon. Because of the open back I stayed cool the entire time!

Dress it up or down this little fiesty number is going to be at the top of my bag for trips where you need something that can take you from the beach to classy cocktails!

{emerald green amazon jumpsuit}

Happy Fat Tuesday! I found this jumpsuit on Amazon last month and cannot wait to wear it ASAP!

Something about emerald green always catches my eye. I believe it's a color that just looks good on everyone. This jumpsuit was no exception when I stumbled across it while browsing aimlessly one day (I'm always looking at reviews and adding them to my different tabs on my Amazon prime page!) I love the flattering deep V and the little sleeves but what I love most is the price tag - only $18! Yes, you read that right haha. I can't even believe how well it fits... you can sit down comfortably without it riding up and you can raise your arms easily.

I've styled it here in a more dressy way - perfect for a wedding or rehearsal dinner. But it looks just as cute paired down with sandals, a straw bag, and sunglasses :) I think the loose fit on the pants is what lends it to such versatility! It zips up the back and the tie is removable. I'm wearing a small and am 5'-6" for reference. The material isn't sheer but it's thin so I'm wearing nipple pasties!

If y'all purchase anything from my Amazon page I'd love to see how you style it! Just tag me!
