{polka dot green amazon maxi}

The days in Key West have been warm (not hot) during the day and nice at cool at night. Plus, there's always a breeze running through the island. This glorious weather has me reaching for maxi dresses with a flowy material - and a jean jacket for nights on the water!

I ordered this maxi last month because I didn't have a halter dress I loved sitting in my closet. It was oddly enough something very specific that I was searching for and had no luck. Amazon to the rescue am I right? I found the green dress with a slight hi-lo hem and a darling pattern. When I received it in the mail I obviously put it on instantly. I was so happy to see that it barely wrinkled and was the perfect length with sandals on my 5'-6" frame! This would work so well on taller girls, or short girls with heels, or any height girl with heels because the hem doesn't make it look awkward wherever it hits. You can adjust where the elastic waist hits with help of the ribbon - it's not attached and doesn't have loops to go through FYI. I've reached for this dress a couple of times now and am practically thinking about getting another color! Green is my favorite though :)

I know I've worn these Tkees shoes more times than y'all can count... I got them for Christmas from my sister and her fiance! I've had my heart set on these shoes for YEARS but never actually swooped them up. Don't ask my why not because with a price tag at $50 there's no reason to not try them out (they have free returns and exchanges). When Samantha asked me what I wanted for Christmas they were the first thing I put on my list. They. Are. So. Damn. Comfortable!!! Tkees form to your feet and the leather is an absolute dreammmm - feel like I'm walking on clouds!!
A note about sizing: they run small and if you have wide feet you'll have to size up again too. I have very narrow feet so the straps across were a little tight at first but they've stretched out a loooot. I normally wear a 7 and went up to an 8 (no half sizes) and they fit perfectly now.

Let's talk about this bag... yes, I know it's a splurge for a straw bag. However, the double handles, personalization, and quality of materials is above and beyond. I purchased a designer straw bag at the end of last summer (through Rent the Runway, but still a $$ tag) that had short handles and long straps and they style was so convenient. I carried it almost every day but the rough straw began breaking, poking out, and just falling apart. I was very disappointed. I knew that all of the details on this bag would check those boxes and hold up better. The neutral colors make my heart sing and the pocket inside is perfect for your phone! [You can purchase without letters and choose whatever patches you want.]

What's your favorite spring outfit right now? If you're in the cold what are you most excited to throw on the second your vacation starts?!

{6 amazon sweaters for fall}

I shared a quick try-on haul via IG stories today and it made my heart so happy that y'all loved my picks as much as I do! I also asked for everyone's opinions on how to share content like this and got a resounding YES to keeping the try-ons via stories. However, a lot of y'all had a good point that you wanted to have a place where you could go back and search for them on your computer too... SO I will keep doing Instagram try-ons but will upload all of the photos to a post here (along with uploading them all to liketoknow.it/jennrog) so that you can find something easily! They are saved in my IG highlights too - I know everyone loves options.

{birdie's leopard flats}

I wasn't lying when I said that I wanted a second pair of Birdie's shoes! The quilting on the bottom of the shoe is so comfortable it feels like a cloud. I also have a weakness for calf hair leopard in the fall... it's the best neutral in my opinion.

When the weather gets cooler this is always an easy, go-to look for running errands, grabbing dinner with a friend, or running errands. A classic pair of dark wash jeans with a big sweater and loafers - perfection! It finally hit low 70's in Key West this week and I knew this sweater would work well because it's lightweight and loose. The cut out shoulder detail is so cute and I love that it shows off some skin - makes up for the oversized look! It's a great price point from Amazon too. Since all of my sweaters are in storage I realized I was going to have nothing to wear when I went to OBX for Thanksgiving and Baltimore for Christmas! Amazon to the rescue! I didn't want simple sweaters - I ordered things that had fun colors or patterns and different cuts! I'm excited to share some more this season. I'm really looking forward to spending some time with family and being up East!

{striped amazon pants}

Y'all went crazy over these pants & top when I shared these two pieces on IG before my trip to Key West - so I decided to style them slightly differently and together! I tied the top in the front and the pants in the back to mix it up.

I have been living in crop tops this spring and know it will continue into Summer! They just make it feel like you're on vacation! I loved that this top could be tied in the front for a super beachy look (like I had shared on my amazon try on haul). I wanted to see the multiple ways you could wear this top so I began tying, wrapping, knotting, twisting, etc. to see what looks I preferred! I liked this knotted in the front to give it some pizzazz so I chose to knot the pants in the back so it wasn't double ties in the front. I think it gives the pants a lot cleaner look! It truly lets the slits in the front take center stage; I love how they open up when you walk and give you great circulation. Key West is hot and humid so wearing clothing that breathes was a game changer. These pants have little shorts underneath (you can kind of see them since they're white) so you don't have to worry about flashing anyone.

Y'all asked me to find more pants so that's what I've been trying to incorporate into my wardrobe a bit more :) I love loose flowy pants so I'm still on the hunt for more amazing finds! Don't forget to check out my Amazon page with more options! I'm always adding because I'm an addict... I have two more posts with Amazon pants coming your way.

My purse and sunglasses are also from Amazon! They are two of my most used items! Kyle got me my sunglasses for Christmas (after I obsessed over them on my bestie Emily for a solid year) and I've been carrying this straw bag since last summer - it's the first bag I reach for on the weekends!
