It's no secret that I not only love to shop but I also LOVE a good sale find! That's one reason I'm always shopping on Amazon ;) the prices are to die for! But I also love online boutiques... you know, the ones that have new arrivals daily, limited amounts, and the cutest/most unique pieces? Enter Red Dress Boutique. I have been shopping from them for years (since the Lesley Murphy days on the Bachelor) and only recently discovered how amazing their sale section is. Almost every piece I purchased recently was under $30 and marked down to 50% off! I had some store credit from returning pieces past the window deadline and fell in love with a dress in an email blast so I decided it was time to grab a couple of new things for 2020! Everything I purchased is in a size Small and I'm 5'-6" for height reference. I'm also normally a 2-4 and small but if something runs big I can fit into an XS.
Feel free to email me or DM me (@jennrog on IG) if you have any questions or need help picking a size!
My trip to Key West was nothing short of relaxing and amazing... every corner boasted a new type of flower I wanted to learn about and the sun was always shining (well, almost always - we did have one intense thunderstorm day)! Packing up all beach clothes for two weeks way down South to see my Coastie off and then hang out with my high school besties was just what I needed to get over this cold weather hump. However, returning to cold weather proved to be pretty difficult. I have lots of warm weather outfit inso coming and it's all very budget friendly! So book that last minute trip to Florida or prepare for your Spring Break, Honeymoon, vacation, etc! I found this dress online because I really wanted something pleated and halter. I didn't have the intention to purchase a red dress but that seems to be something that I'm always drawn to. I adore the color and love it on brunettes or blondes. It has a great length so you could easily pair this with tall wedges or heels and not feel like you're going to flash someone lol. It moves so well in the breeze and I felt so glamorous and cool walking along the docks in it! It was perfect to wear to happy hour and I was able to knot it at my thigh when Kyle and I rode bikes around that afternoon. Because of the open back I stayed cool the entire time! Dress it up or down this little fiesty number is going to be at the top of my bag for trips where you need something that can take you from the beach to classy cocktails!
Happy Valentine's Day!! I've always loved this "hallmark holiday" - it's an excuse to celebrate love a little bit harder. I don't have any romantic plans tonight so I'm taking myself to 305 for a killer twerkout and am going to order a delicious meal in (maybe pizza?) and drink a nice glass of wine! I will probably take a hot bubble bath after to truly treat myself too hehe. Kyle will be arriving Friday night and I am so so soooo excited that I haven't been able to concentrate this week! We don't have any big plans so I'm excited to just hang out with him and explore DC together again. This red dress is sadly sold out (why does that always happen right after I shoot something?!) but y'all seriously need to put your name on the waitlist. It's so flattering and comfortable! I love the ruffles and big sleeves. It comes in 4 other colors too. Shop Red Dress Boutique has been a favorite of mine for a couple years but they fell off my radar! All of a sudden I've been seeing the boutique all over Instagram and I had to check them out. I got 5 things because their sale section was so good (like $20 dresses)! Some of the items are pricier but the quality is amazing! What are you doing tonight to celebrate?
When it came to styling an outfit for the brand meeting portion of The Blog Societies Conference I knew I needed to stick with what I know. For me, that's bold accessories! I love patterns but bright, solid colors are always the best palette for me when I have jewelry I want to make standout. I found this Topshop dress online early this summer and was instantly hooked. I loved it loose and hanging but the belt gave it a great easy-going look that showed off my shape better. Pom-poms were all the rage this summer so when I found this clutch (from one of my favorite online shops) I made it mine instantly! It also pulled the red dress and earrings together perfectly. Y'all know I can't stay away from turquoise... is it time I admit I have an obsession??
There's nothing more jaw dropping than a red dress in my mind. The color makes a statement in itself and all you need are some simple accessories to top off the look. The big sleeves make it breezy enough for summer but cover enough to make it appropriate for fall weather. I love these gold jewels that I received in my Rocksbox (get your first month free with code JENNIFERXOXO1) recently and I know I'm not going to be able to live without this necklace! I love being able to try new jewelry every month and take it on a test drive! I feel like I talk about Rocksbox all the time… but I really wouldn't recommend it so often if I really didn't love it so much. I've been a loyal member for almost a year now and have purchased around 10 pieces that I've received (all for 20% off)!
