Last month one of my best friends, Kristyn, and I ventured down to Key West for a girl's weekend getaway. It was 5 days of pure sunshine and happiness filled with lots of adventure and tasty drinks! I have a full Key West Travel Guide coming up and looots of outfit posts :) I know it's been some time coming but I've had so many photos to edit and wanted to make sure that I could fit everything concisely into one great post! I like to think of travel guides as something you can keep in your back pocket and pull up quickly.
I figured I would kick off the posts with a quintessential beach outfit. I love how this coverup is longer because when my legs got a little too much sun this was the best way to cover them! Plus, it's such a fun alternative :) Throw on a sunhat with pompoms and you've got a fun look for taking a stroll on the coast. These photos were taken at Sunset Keys which is a little island off the main land - we took a boat in the morning and then lounged in the sun drinking piña coladas! (Side note: I also had the best fish tacos of my entire life there.) They had the best service so that K and I never went thirsty ;) Key West doesn't have any natural beaches, they're all man-made, so finding a private beach where you could truly kickback and listen to the waves was amazing! It's at the top of my KW beach list if you're traveling there. Who doesn't need a little R&R after dancing the night away on Duval street?? Spoiler alert: K and I needed it immensely hehe!
