I love everything about how this look came together. It's chic and classic while still having some fun! Next time I wear this (date night perhaps?) I plan on rocking a bold lip and wearing my hair up. I usually wear my hair down in the winter because I know it won't frizz but the power of a ponytail ladies… it works wonders! I love how I could wear a tight shirt and fitted pants but not feel self-conscious because I was cozied up in a poncho. Turtlenecks are a great way to add layers when the temperature starts to dip. I like mine to be really thin and fitted or super chunky and heavy!

I can not believe how quickly EVERYTHING is selling out this year… it's really frustrating when I get something, plan ahead to take blog photos, and then in 5 days it's sold out! Ugh! So, unfortunately, I don't have a link for this exact Forever 21 "Chevron Knit Poncho" but when it comes back online I'll be sure to give you a heads up! I have searched for other wraps/ponchos/basically blankets that are similar in style and I would wear in a heart beat! I may or may not have also linked some blanket scarves that just came back in stock ;)

The boy arrives late tonight for a fun DC weekend!!!!! :) can you tell I'm excited? Hopefully our Hokies can pull a "W" out of their hat to make it an even better Saturday (knock on wood… don't want to jinx it. haaaa) Do y'all have any fun plans this weekend? How's the weather in everyone's town?
