Last month I had an awesome weekend in Bluemont with my three best bloggers gals Kristyn, Lauren, and Laura. We went to a couple of vineyards (The Barns and Bluemont Vineyard) on Saturday then had a fun night out in Leesburg eating and exploring - with lots of talking per usual. Sunday morning we woke up early and went apple picking at Great Country Farms while eating fresh, hit cider donuts. I have alllllways wanted to go apple picking so going with my favorite people made it even better. We had to dig a bit to find the perfect apples but boy were they tasty once we found the best ones!

It was a chilly morning but still warm in the sun so wrapping this scarf around me was the perfect combo. I wish I could spend every Sunday morning drinking tea, eating donuts, picking apples, and laughing with my friends. Now that it's cooler out I highly recommend going to GCF and getting some apples - we explored the Farm after and saw all of the cute animals too. Plus, the goodies we got at the store... apple butter, preservatives, cheese, fig jam, everything - can't wait to duplicate some of the food we ate while out in Bluemont (fig preserve, arugula, and goat cheese pizza is up first)!
