{kendra scott bethesda event | 1.13.16}

I have exciting news for my readers in the DC/MD/VA area - I'm hosting my very first event at the Kendra Scott store in Bethesda next Wednesday, January 13th!! I would love to meet everyone and shop with you guys!

The best part? I'm hosting it with two of my best blogger gals: Kristyn of Primp & Proper and Laura of The Black Blazer! This event is all about giving back to the community so 20% of the sales will go to an organization called "Taste of the South" who is raising money for Camp Koinonia this year.

"Camp K is a week-long, outdoor education program for 150 children, ages 7-21, with multiple disabilities. Camp K’s primary focus is to provide an opportunity for children and young adults, some with severe disabilities, to attend an outdoor camp that they normally would not be able to. The camp was originally developed in 1977 at Virginia Tech and has now transitioned to The University of Tennessee (UT)."

The three of us couldn't have picked a more perfect fundraiser that we can all stand behind... I'm a die hard Hokie and Kristyn and Laura are big Vols fans - our two schools coming together! I learned about Taste of the South from Kristyn because she represents Tennessee and sits on the board for TOTS every year. We have all been big Kendra Scott girls for years now even though we have such different and unique styles. That's one of my favorite things about this jewelry is that it works with so many styles and can be so versatile - Kristyn is your typical prepster who puts a classic, polished look on every outfit she styles while Laura knows how to take a neutral look and make it so sleek and sophisticated you'd think it was out of a magazine. I think I fall right in between... a lot of girly with bright colors and a spin on trendy looks. No matter your style or level of trendiness there's something you'll fall in love with.

Some of my favorite looks with Kendra Scott...

I really hope you can come out and join the three of us for some sips and sweets next Wednesday, January 13th while we shop for some new Kendra Scott jewels! Clearly I don't own anything from that store.... cough cough...

Love Always,

  3. If you are planning a conference for your business, you need to be really careful. As such corporate events Chicago are critical for your public image. There are lot of points that you should keep in mind for effective management of business events.
