{kendra scott arrives in bethesda}

Necklace // ASOS Dress, old (similar in red)  // Charles David Heels, old (favorite wedges)

Yesterday I was so thrilled to be able to visit the FIRST Kendra Scott store in the DC/VA/MD area!!! I can't even get over how gorgeous everything is and how much fun it was admiring all of the pretty colors. I got another sneak peek at the Fall line that comes out tomorrow and it is so dang good. I love how different and architectural it is - All about textures and metals. Swoon! (See the inspiration video here.)

I took that gorgeous necklace on the left home with me!! Eek!!

The store doesn't disappoint with the signature collection being put on display either. Every drawer is a vision in the perfect KS rainbow. Mercury glass lines the back of bookcases and shelves and everything is covered in fun mixtures of colors and adorable succulents. The tables have necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, etc., all inviting you to try things on - and that's the best part - you can try ANYTHING on!! This is a hand's on store!!

Speaking of hand's on… the COLOR BAR; I could have played on that thing for hours (FYI: you can online!) creating different earrings and necklaces. I'm going to be customizing a pair of earrings ASAP for sure. The back wall changes colors in the classic Kendra shape and it was so awesome to watch the employees actually create a unique piece for a customer. People flocked in to the store today - the short amount of time I was there so many women and men came in to admire all of the gorgeous jewels. It was awesome!

I drank the Kendra Scott kool-aid a long time ago (how many times have I worn these earrings?!?! Oh right, yesterday ha) and today only solidified why I love it. The store is a complete reflection of what the company stands for - sisterhood and philanthropy. The employees and everyone who works for Kendra Scott treats each other as equals and has their best interests at heart. That means treating every customer with respect and enthusiasm too! The amount of philanthropies that this amazing store is involved in continues to surprise me. They are always looking for ways to help the store's communities - because they're part of the KS family now! You can see a couple they work with and donate to here.

I could keep going but y'all need to experience this place for yourself. See if there's a store near you! This was my first time in a store :) The quality of this jewelry is truly top notch. The stones are all hand cut and the metals never wear or lose their luster. These are pieces that you will wear every day and for a long time coming!!

Thank you SOOO much Kendra Scott Bethesda team and Brittney for inviting me to see your store :) It was an honor to see y'all in action on the first day! Which piece is calling your name? Have you taken a peek at the Mystic Bazaar collection yet?

Thank you Kristyn for letting my borrow your camera and Brittney for snapping pictures of me!

Love Always,
