{gift guide: white elephant}

 I think this gift guide was the most requested... white elephants are the best way to exchange with coworkers and friends since you don't have to buy multiple presents. Just one and then you can swap, steal, switch, or whatever depending on how you play! I didn't include "gag gifts" on here because that's not my style ;) but these are unique gifts that are sure to work for any group setting!

psst... this board is shoppable! Just click the black plus sign on the item you want to shop!

PS Look for this symbol on all of my 2020 Gift Guides for even MORE ideas that would work perfectly for a White Elephant. Budget friendly - of course!

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

La Croix Cross Stitch // This has become a quarantine hobby for tons of people so why not make it cheeky with everyone's favorite sparkling water!

Jenga with a Twist // I love games... I think it's the best way to bring people together at a party that don't know each other! I love that these blocks have things already written on them to take the game to another level.

BruMate Slim Can // If I could even find the words to describe how much I love this product... lol okay I'll try ;) I first discovered this company last summer and was instantly hooked. A koozie for my White Claw? Sold. I got Kyle two of these in matte navy blue last Christmas for us to use on boat days! We tested them out one day... opened the cans (in the BruMate) and left them sitting on the console of the boat in the scorching hot sun for two hours while we snorkeled. When we came back up and took that first sip... ice cold! I was absolutely blown away. Plus, this is very budget friendly! They have sooo many cute colors and tons of other products! Maybe I need to do a gift guide solely for the BruMate hehe.

Tripod - $24 // Okay so this isn't for everyone BUT if you have a teen in your life or even someone like me who uses a tripod to take their own pictures this is the BEST one I've found. It's super sturdy and can go up to 6' tall. I love it!

Cordless Wine Opener // Enough said. Makes life so easy! Maybe add a bottle of wine to the present to really up the gift!

{gift guide: for the cocktail critic}

 With so much time spent at home this year (and the creation of Isolation Hydration - a video series on my Instagram with cocktail creations) everyone is a professional bartender in the comforts of their own home! This gift guide is for the creator, the scotch guru, the new homeowner with a brand new bar cart, or even the person in your life that just drinks wine!

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Rose Gold Bar Cart Set // If the person you're gifting to is just starting to dabble in cocktails or has a new house/bar cart then this is a great place to start. At $26 this looks a lot more expensive and is stunning just sitting out. AKA make them look like a pro even if they never touch it. However, it has everything you do need to make a bomb cocktail the right way. Shaker, stir stick, strainer, ice tongs, stopper, jig, etc. The rose gold is a gorgeous touch.

Sangria Pitcher // I use our hand painted pitcher for pouring up a big batch of premade cocktails (just hold the soda water to preserve bubbles and serve over each individual glass). It doubles as an open shelf decoration AND a stunning vase for flowers.

Rose Gold Coupe Glasses // These pretty and delicate glasses are commonly used for serving "up" drinks, meaning cocktails that are shaken or stirred until chilled and then served without ice. They're fancy and not entirely necessary... but I'm dying for a stunning set like these!

Wine and Liquor Decanters // If you're a wine enthusiast then you know the importance of a decanter. Open a nice bottle and pour it into the decanter to let it breathe. This is also a common practice with liquor - but you can leave it in a stunning glass container year round.

Copper Mugs // no Mule is complete without a copper mug! I was so excited when I found this set of 4 because it also comes with 4 copper straws and a matching copper shot glass! That's amazing for $47! The copper helps keep your drinks extra icy while you drink them. Plus, a specialty cup just feels festive! I love making my Moscow Mules with Tito's, Crabbie's ginger beer, lime, and mint!

{gift guide: for the fitness lover}

 For the fitness lover in your life... the one who would rather be in atheleisure, always has a yoga mat tucked under her arm, wears tennis shoes more than any other shoe, loves trying the latest and greatest in classes, and is thriving during quarantine with those at home workouts!

Psst this board is shoppable... just click the black plus sign to shop each item!

If I was to curate a wish list for myself this would nail it on the head... accessories for at home workouts, a new hot yoga towel (you can never have too many), some cute matching sets, and items to spice it up! Those fitness dice crack me up! I think it would be so much fun if you have your pod over for a workout and you just roll the dice!

Be sure to check out all of my 2020 Gift Guides for even more ideas!

A couple of highlights on this gift guide:

Tula Eyebalm // I use this product every single morning. It helps wake me up instantly by cooling and brightening under my eyes. I'm not putting on makeup for a 6am class (LOL) so this is the only skincare I do before I grab my waterbottle and head out the door. Code "JENNROG" will get you 15% off every day - highly recommend getting the trio of eyebalms to keep one for yourself and gift the other two! It's already discounted in this trio and an even steeper discount with my code!

Nike Zoom Pegasus // these are the most comfortable sneakers I own. I run in them and the arch support is incredible. Feels like a cloud! Run TTS.

Fabletics // y'all know I'm head over heels for every outfit I get! I get a new look every month as a VIP - it makes me happy to have something cute and new to wear for a workout that I'm dreading!

Stoney Clover Bag // I own this bag in black and use it to carry every thing I need to the gym daily. I've had it for over a year and it looks brand new. It holds my yoga towel, boxing gloves, wraps, water bottle, gym needs, etc... truly a game changer (plus it's cute and nobody else will have anything like it!)

{stoney clover lane sale}

Today is an exciting day because for only a couple more hours... Stoney Clover has a 20% off sale!! They basically NEVER do sales... maybe two a year? The sale ends at 10pm tonight so if you have your eye on something - grab it now!

I'm sharing a couple of my favorite designs and items that I own in a collage below :)

Psst! This board is shoppable... just click on the item you wish to shop!

Okay so there's a LOT to unpack... there are so many different products you can customize and use! All of the pouches have come in handy for traveling or even my day to day. Taking a mini pouch from bag to bag with my daily essentials (hand sanitizer, gum, headphones, bobby pins, etc.) makes switching bags a breeze! I also use some larger bags on the daily: woven tote for going out, fanny pack for my early morning walks on the beach, nylon tote bag for my gym bag (the black doesn't show any wear and tear), and the duffle bag for traveling (it fits under a plane seat if it's not fully stuffed).

The item I own the most of: the large pouch. I have it in three colors. I use it to pack a change of clothes after the beach, to separate shoes from my clothes, to keep my swimsuits in one place while traveling, or to pack all of my hair products/brush/hair dryer separate from my suitcase. It also can hold a couple of small pouches if you need to keep those together haha.

If you're looking for a starter product at a lower price... the clear travel pouch!! I'm getting a third because I use my other two every single day! I keep one under my sink to hold all of my day and night skin care products and the other one holds my maks, pens, lipglosses, etc. in my purse/gym bag. I'm getting a third to hold my boxing wraps so that I'm not digging through my gym bag for them :)

Pro Tip: the patches do not need to be sewn on the clear plastic! The back of the patches are 3m so they stick perfectly - this also saves a customization fee. I do recommend having them actually sewn on by Stoney Clover for the regular nylon material though! So my clear travel pouches and the large open-top pouch (that I hold all my makeup in) I bought the patches separately and just stuck them on myself.

Another item that is underrated are the flat pouches. They're of course great for traveling, organizing, and packing but I love that they can then be used as a cute clutch! Perfect opportunity to put a cute catchy phrase on there like: Adios, Kiss, XOXO, Swim, Travel,  your name, the year you were born, glam, chill, hello, swim, shine.... clearly I have a lot of ideas :) I was very proud of my idea for using 1990 on one of my large pouches!

They constantly drop fun collections like the cozy collection (shown in a fuzzy moss above), corduroy, hello kitty, tropical colors, fall colors (the pistachio green is gorg!), jewel tones, and the terry cloth collection. Just to name a few! I'm always excited to see what they will come up with next. They have 16 incredible permanent colors in their line... something for everyone.

Please let me know if you have any questions (or need help with design ideas)! I know these pieces are an investment but they honestly are worth every penny because the quality and number of times you'll use them is beyond!

{2020 sephora sale - what's in my cart}

Psst this board is shoppable! Just click the item you want to view!

What's in my cart during this November Sephora sale? Some old tried-and-true favorites, some full size purchases from samples I loved, and a couple of recommendations from y'all! Let's break it down...

Stila Liquid Eyeshadow // If you are rushing out the door but want a statement eyelid then this product is for you. Discovered thanks to Hillary Duff's beauty videos... so easy and blendable with a subtle shine. Shade Kitten is my favorite. I also love Jezebel.

KNC Beauty Eye Masks // When everyone was sharing black-owned businesses this summer I discovered KNC Beauty and was instantly hooked. For starters, it's a female-owned company (heck yes!)... they also carry the most amazing under eye masks that are retinol-infused. They instantly brighten up my dark circles and help depuff my eyes. Plus, they're stars. So cute!

Ilia Multi-use Pigment // I've seen a couple of bloggers rave about this clean beauty line so I wanted to give it a try. Starting off with this multi-use pigment. I like the idea of being able to touch up my lips, cheeks, and even adding a little color to my lids with one piece!

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick // Everyone's cult favorite in pillow talk strikes again... it truly is THAT good!

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara // I will never get off my soapbox about this product.

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder // This is what I use to set my liquid concealer. It also has a bit of brightening power in it - winning!

Sephora Eye Love Palette // The easiest neutral shadow colors for any girl. The ones that can't do fancy looks and for the ones who are makeup pros. I love the price point too!

Grande Brow // I don't grow eyebrow hair. It's a fact and it's frustrating but this product has changed the game for me. It's allowed me to have bushier eyebrows and they're growing!

Glow Recipe Avocado Melt // I use this product every night on my undereyes during my skincare routine. It's very moisturizing and I love the retinol in it to help my skin!

Tarte Wink of H2O Collagen Eye Cream // I got a tiny sample of this in a past order and I loooove it. Vegan, clean, and packed with collagen. I've been using this during my morning skincare routine.

Fresh Soy Face Wash // Another product I won't get off my soap box about! It takes all my makeup off, is super gentle, and doesn't leave my skin feeling super dry and stretched out right after (you know what I'm talking about!)

Ouai Texturizing Spray // I religiously buy this in a travel size because it works so well as a hairspray when I curl my hair

Ouai Volumizing Spray // Excited to try out this new product - I always want more va-va-voom to my roots!

Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Cream // Another product I buy in a travel size! I have used this when I travel for almost 3 years now. It does wonders for my frizz and keeps my ends moisturized.

Ouai Dry Shampoo // Recently tried this in a travel size... the smell is INSANE! Had to purchase the full size because omgggg

Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector // This is a brand that's been hot on IG this year. I finally got to try a sample and I get it. It's a great mid-week mask when your ends are getting worn down and the roots need some TLC.

Tarte Cream Bronzer // This product is technically a knock-off of the famous Chanel bronzer. However, it recently came to light that they test on animals... this Tarte product is identical AND it's clean and cruelty free!! Sooo it's worth every penny. I wear shade Seychelles and got the matching brush. The duo is incredible and makes bronzing and even contouring your face so easy. Highly recommend.
