Whenever I put this skirt on I feel like I should be working in the Mad Men era sipping a cocktail and hosting a dinner party. Okay… so maybe that's just me but I want to wear this skirt to anything and everything!

I originally posted about this skirt in one of my very first blog posts! I wasn't planning on doing a blog post about it but when I wore it to work a month ago and people raved about it I kept an eye open for when it would go on sale again. Well friends… it has! From $77 to $27!

I adore this midi skirt trend. What fun! Keep your top minimal so that the focus will be on this full-bodied, patterned skirt. I chose to pair it with neutral heels so that the skirt was truly the life of the party.

These pants feel like I'm wearing pajamas and are incredibly comfortable. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone and pair them with something I'm not so comfortable with… crop tops.

I'm not a huge fan of tight fitting clothes because I feel self-conscious in them. I also don't like showing off my midriff. I've had a hard time with the whole "crop top trend" because I don't think it should be about showing off your whole dang belly... a sliver of skin can be just enough sexy!

So when I found these pants and they were incredibly long and I could make them high-waisted I thought "okay… let's try this out." Feeling sexy while being trendy and wearing pajama-like pants? I'll take it!

I always joke that my go-to outfit is navy and white. So today, I thought I would show you how I plan on wearing that color combo through Spring, Fall, and Winter. It's always about the accessories in my book! I also thought it would be fun to pick one item (everyone raves about this skirt) and style it through all three seasons. It's important to be able to style one piece multiple ways so you can get more use out of it. Especially during the end of the year because the weather gets so iffy! One second it's warm and sunny… the next it's a polar vortex!! Ugh, fingers crossed this winter doesn't go like that this year. I'll list my fall essentials later on, but for now, let's enjoy the last bit of summer! Time to get as much sunshine as I can out of August :)
