A couple of Shopbop sale's ago I purchased this Tiare Hawaii dress because I fell in love the second I saw it! The big sleeves, the bright colors, the tie detailing, the loose fit... it was just perfect in my mind.

The weather in DC has been a little back and forth recently. Sunny but with a chill in the air or cloudy but still a little warm (like when I shot these photos). When the weather acts like that I always cover my legs or my arms up - both is too hot but neither is too cold. Does anybody else get like that? This little number is the perfect solution!

Normally when I wear a standout dress I (attempt to) tone my accessories down... however, I knew that these ElyseByNicole tassels would go perfectly with this look! Last weekend my little sister came to visit me for the weekend so Samantha, my best friend Kaitlyn and I packed a little cooler and headed to Stone Tower Winery out in Leesburg, Virginia! It was an easy 45 minute drive and the weather was perfect. We did a wine tasting and then grabbed a bottle of rose and sauvignon blanc to enjoy with our pretzels, cheese, hummus, and carrots out on a blanket in the shade! The views were gorgeous and we even watched a wedding go on down by a little lake.

While getting dressed I knew I wanted something light and breezy. This off the shoulder dress has been my saving grace multiple times because it goes from day to night so easily. I grabbed my favorite hat (literally had this for 2 years now) and sunglasses so that I wouldn't get sunburned. Even though I packed sunscreen in our cooler ;) I kept it easy with sandals (I wear this every day at work I think) and topped it off with my new Kendra Scott necklace!

I could not be more obsessed with this dress - the crisp white color, deep-v in the front and back, lace detailing, and breezy fit. It's everything you could want in a dress for a hot day exploring Charleston while attempting to look nice for brand meetings! Paired with a bright tassel necklace (surprise, surprise) and you are ready to head out the door looking effortless. Especially after a long night of traveling and waking up bright and early for a full day in the humidity and sunshine!

This was one of the most fun places to shoot in Charleston! Rainbow Row has a house of every color lining this adorable street. I chose blue because I was dressed head to toe and loved the monochromatic look it gave to this ensemble!

I am crazy over this shirt and it seems that everyone else is too! It can be worn as a "cold shoulder" top or a regular tank top (as shown on the model via the website). I wore this all Sunday in Charleston walking around and exploring the historic district. It was key to be in an easy-breezy outfit so cotton shorts and a loose tank were perfect. Since it was really humid I brought my Panama hat to keep the sun off my head and help hide any frizzy hair (which I then didn't care too much about haha). It's amazing how gorgeous everything is in Chucktown… I didn't even care what I looked like because I wanted to soak it all in!

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Even though I took off of work yesterday I spent the whole day answering emails and editing photos… still so much to catch up on!
